Khalid Siddig

Khalid Siddig is a Senior Research Fellow in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit and Program Leader for the Sudan Strategy Support Program. He is an agricultural economist with a focus on examining the impacts of potential shocks and the allocation of resources on economic growth, environmental sustainability, and income distribution through the lens of economywide and micro-level tools.

The Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA), in collaboration with the National Planning Commission (NPC), Malawi Strategy Support Program of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), University of Malawi (UNIMA), the Government of Malawi, and the European Union (EU) have organized a third joint research symposium.

It will bring together local and international researchers, policy analysts, and students to engage under this year’s theme: Inclusive and sustainable economic development – Envisioning wealth for all.
