2019 Global Food Policy Report Launches Today
Rural areas are in crisis around the world. The 2019 Global Food Policy Report highlights the urgency of rural revitalization to reduce hunger and malnutrition and improve livelihoods and environments in rural areas.

In the Rearview: Reviewing major food policy developments globally, Shenggen Fan explains why a fundamental transformation of our food and agricultural system and of rural areas is urgently needed if the world is to achieve SDGs by 2030. (Chapter 1)
