Kristin Davis, a U.S. national, joined IFPRI in November 2004 as a postdoctoral fellow in innovation systems. She is based in Addis Ababa with the ISNAR division. Prior to joining IFPRI, she worked in agricultural development in Eastern Africa. Davis holds a Ph.D. in international agricultural extension from the University of Florida. Her current research interests include the role of farmer groups in agricultural innovation systems, participation and poverty in relation to farmer groups, and pluralistic extension systems in Africa.
