Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

2019 Global Food Policy Report 

Our rural areas are in crisis. What does this mean for food security and nutrition? IFPRI’s 2019 Global Food Policy Report highlights the urgency of rural revitalization to address the crisis in rural areas and overcome food insecurity, persistent poverty and inequality, and environmental degradation.

Experts and authors of chapters on food policy, rural-urban linkages, gender equality, environment, and regional analysis from Africa and South Asia will be available on the record for analysis and questions from the media.
