Liangzhi You

Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow and theme leader in the Foresight and Policy Modeling Unit, based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on climate resilience, spatial data and analytics, agroecosystems, and agricultural science policy. Gridded crop production data of the world (SPAM) and the agricultural technology evaluation model (DREAM) are among his research contributions.

IFPRI is participating in the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021. The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Gender & Women at COP26 (November 1-2, 2021 — 6:00am – 9:00am EDT)

The objective of this workshop is to allow National Gender & Climate Change Focal Points (NGCCFPs) and Parties to reflect on and develop recommendations on the role of NGCCFPs. Experiences will be shared to inspire collaborative reflections.
