IFPRI’s South Asia Regional Office (IFPRI-SAR) is organizing a hybrid launch event for this year’s Global Food Policy Report in Dhaka, Bangladesh in collaboration with the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) on August 17, 2022.
The 2022 Global Food Policy Report, IFPRI’s flagship report, highlights the urgency of accelerating innovation, reforming policies, resetting market incentives, and increasing financing for sustainable food systems transformation.
With climate change posing increasingly complex existential challenges to the South Asian region, there is an imperative for urgent action on climate change — both to achieve the major emissions reductions needed to limit global warming and to increase adaptive capacity and resilience.
Join Bangladesh’s discussion of IFPRI’s 2022 GFPR to learn more about possible opportunities for accelerated action that could be considered in policy and investment decision-making for climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience.
