Reforms Key to a Healthy Agrifood Sector (China Daily)

China Daily published an op-ed authored by IFPRI Director General Shenggen Fan on the challenges faced by the country’s agri-food sector. In the opinion piece, Fan argued supply-side reforms are essential to ensure sustainable, safe and nutritious food systems. Fan explained how three key reforms—institutional reforms; policy innovations; and inclusive value chains—could increase efficiency in the sector.
