Liangzhi You

Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow and theme leader in the Foresight and Policy Modeling Unit, based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on climate resilience, spatial data and analytics, agroecosystems, and agricultural science policy. Gridded crop production data of the world (SPAM) and the agricultural technology evaluation model (DREAM) are among his research contributions.

India seeks to double the income of its farmers (Lok Sabha)

India’s Lok Sabha TV (live) featured IFPRI-South Asia director P. K. Joshi for a discussion on ‘Doubling Farmers Income’. Along with co-panelist Radha Singh, former Secretary (Agriculture), Joshi expressed optimism and support for the Indian Prime Minister’s road map to achieve this goal. He added that the nation could pursue a broader vision in the future, and become a prominent exporter of agricultural produce in its region.
