The Board of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), a research center of CGIAR, is recruiting a new Director General to succeed Dr. Shenggen Fan at the conclusion of his successful tenure in the role (December 2019). Position description is found here.

The Director General provides overall intellectual and strategic leadership to IFPRI. As chief executive officer, the Director General oversees IFPRI’s research, communications, fundraising, and administration. The successful candidate will possess a strong research track record in the field of food policy research. This technical authority will be bolstered by successful experience in managing complex and distributed organizations. The chosen candidate will be a gifted communicator and mobilizer of resources and be comfortable engaging with a broad range of partner organizations.
