Washington Post published an op-ed by former Senior Research Fellow Gerald Nelson regarding the disconnect between agricultural research institutions and their lack of solidarity in achieving nutrition problems based on a recent research, co-authored along with Keith Lividini, Keith Wiebe and Timothy Sulser. Nelson dubbed the need for affordable and nutritious calories among rising global population rates “Calorie Fundamentalism.”
