Liangzhi You

Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow and theme leader in the Foresight and Policy Modeling Unit, based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on climate resilience, spatial data and analytics, agroecosystems, and agricultural science policy. Gridded crop production data of the world (SPAM) and the agricultural technology evaluation model (DREAM) are among his research contributions.

Pandemic corona, needs evaluation on policies regarding food security (SuaraMerdekea.com)

SuaraMerdekea.com (Indonesia) published an article on COVID-19 and food security. This food crisis will make people aware that Indonesia has not been able to meet its own food needs. Agricultural challenges include insufficient land and inadequate climate. These challenges are discussed in the 2018 IFPRI Report, Policies to support investment requirements of Indonesia’s food and agriculture development during 2020-2045.
