Madrimasd.org published an article on what experts are predicting for food security in the wake of COVID-19. IFPRI researchers wrote in an article, COVID-19 risks to global food security in Science Magazine that “At the moment there is not a major food shortage occurring. What we are seeing is a significant increase in food insecurity. The longer the crisis lasts, the more complicated the situation will be.”
