Farming remodeling – Wojciechowski insists on more regionality (Top Agrar)

January 29, 2021

Top Agrar (Germany) published an article about the future of agriculture during the Green Week activities. Director general Johan Swinnen emphasized that agricultural subsidies to be paid should always be in line with global climate targets, if possible. Otherwise, the number of starving people, which has stagnated for several years or in some cases even increased again, cannot be reduced. He also stated the importance of knowledge and innovation in food production. Above all, the roles of young people and women need to be strengthened worldwide. Republished in Agri-Bg
