Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

Infobae (Argentina) published an article stating that a proposal promoted by the United Nations, in conjunction with other international organizations aims to develop general legal frameworks for the development of the legal structures of food companies. In the first session of the Project, which was carried out remotely, leaders from across the globe discussed next steps. IFPRI director general Johan Swinnen took part in this meeting. The judge of the Supreme Court of Justice Ricardo Lorenzetti was appointed as director of a project promoted by the United Nations Organization.
