NDTO published an article in its series “Exporting in the time of COVID-19” on the pandemic’s impact on food supplies on a domestic and international scale. There have been attempts by the Biden Administration to prioritize supply chain resilience. IFPRI states that governments have a significant role in the food system, food workers, and food security. Key issues revolve around how the industries responded and how individual people responded to the food-stressed environment, and how to mitigate those vulnerabilities.
