How we finance food systems – from both public and private sources of capital – may be the ultimate game-changer since financing is both a driver of food system inefficiencies and an essential ingredient to their transformation. ‘’As part of the UN Summit, the World Bank collaborated with IFPRI, and the Food and Land Use Coalition, to rethink the way food systems are financed. Together we identified five ‘food finance imperatives’ which could unlock $4.5 trillion in new business opportunities every year.
