Liangzhi You

Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow and theme leader in the Foresight and Policy Modeling Unit, based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on climate resilience, spatial data and analytics, agroecosystems, and agricultural science policy. Gridded crop production data of the world (SPAM) and the agricultural technology evaluation model (DREAM) are among his research contributions.

Why India is neglecting its methane problem (Eco-Business)

Eco-Business (India) published an article on carbon and climate and stated that the world’s third-largest emitter (India) of the potent greenhouse gas is hesitant to join global phase-down efforts. Senior research fellow Suresh Babu said, “Though India has seen some strong determination to mitigate climate change by focusing on renewable energy. Its agriculture sector has not received much attention” in terms of policies and research to phase down the emissions embedded in its processes.
