Kalyani Raghunathan

Kalyani Raghunathan is Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit, based in New Delhi, India. Her research lies at the intersection of agriculture, gender, social protection, and public health and nutrition, with a specific focus on South Asia and Africa.

FCA holds Conference on agrifood policies (Uniforma)

Uniforma published an article about the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FCA) conference on “Adaptation of agri-food policies for sustainable and healthy food systems,” with the aim of promoting in the teachers and students the production, transformation, supply and distribution of varied and healthy foods to create favorable environments in sustainable food systems. This conference was given by Eugenio Díaz-Bonilla, former director of programs for Latin America and the Caribbean, who provided a space for the exchange of knowledge, practices, and innovative ideas among the community university of the FCA for the construction of healthy and sustainable agri-food systems. Díaz-Bonilla highlighted the importance of the performance of the Agrifood System in Latin America and the Caribbean since at the global level the region plays a crucial role in food security and global sustainability.
