Khalid Siddig

Khalid Siddig is a Senior Research Fellow in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit and Program Leader for the Sudan Strategy Support Program. He is an agricultural economist with a focus on examining the impacts of potential shocks and the allocation of resources on economic growth, environmental sustainability, and income distribution through the lens of economywide and micro-level tools.

Meeting assesses available schemes for malnourished children in Dimapur (Morung Express)

The Morung Express (India) reported on findings from the India Health Report: Nutrition 2015, a report from IFPRI and the Public Health Foundation of India. The report revealed that 42.9% of the total children under the age of five in Meghalaya are stunted (indicative of chronic or cumulative nutritional deprivation in early childhood), while 40.6 children in Assam are found to be undersized.
