Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

Shenggen Fan statement on Sustainable Development Goals summit

As world leaders agree to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) this week, which will anchor the global development agenda for the next 15 years, it is critical to keep the focus on ending hunger and undernutrition—a stepping stone to ending extreme poverty and attaining multiple SDGs. Together, we can achieve a world free of hunger and undernutrition by 2025, and pave the way to sustainable development that leaves no one behind.
