Samuel Benin

Samuel Benin is the Acting Director for Africa in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit. He conducts research on national strategies and public investment for accelerating food systems transformation in Africa and provides analytical support to the African Union’s CAADP Biennial Review.

Bio

Hadiza is currently the State Coordinator in Gombe under the FCDO project of Scaling Climate and Nutrition- Smart Crops in Northern Nigeria. She worked with MTN Nigeria as Regional Admin Assistance from June to December 2007, where she joined Kano State Senor Secondary Management Board from 2007 to January 2016. she worked as project tracking officer with BudgiT from March 2016 to November 2016, were she later worked with Mufarka Youth Development and Education Initiative, Kano as Project Coordinator from December 2016 to February 2017. She moved to DevTech System Inc. S4SIPMS as a Regional Data Collection (Consultant) from March 2017 to February 2018 and later as Survey Data Collection Specialist from March 2018 to September 2019. She then joined the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) – ICRISAT, Kano as Senior Research Supervisor (M&E) from March 2020 to September 2022.
