Kalyani Raghunathan

Kalyani Raghunathan is Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit, based in New Delhi, India. Her research lies at the intersection of agriculture, gender, social protection, and public health and nutrition, with a specific focus on South Asia and Africa.

World Water Week is the annual focal point of water issues across the globe, organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI).

This year, World Water Week (August 26-31) will address the theme “Water, Ecosystems, and Human Development.” 

Experts, practitioners, decision makers, business innovators, and young professionals from a range of sectors and countries come to Stockholm to network, exchange ideas, foster new thinking and develop solutions to the most pressing water-related challenges of today. We believe water is key to our future prosperity, and that together, we can achieve a water-wise world.

IFPRI Participants: 

Claudia Ringler, Deputy Director of IFPRI’s Environment and Production Technology Division (EPTD), will attend World Water Week in Stockholm where she will participate in a series of meetings organized by the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land, and Ecosystems, and other partners.
