Transform Nutrition, IFPRI’s Ethiopia Strategy Support Program and POSHAN (Partnerships and Opportunities to Strengthen and Harmonize Actions for Nutrition in India) are organising this one day conference in Addis Ababa. Bringing together national policy makers, national and international researchers, donors and implementers this conference will present the most recent evidence on the major nutritional issues in Ethiopia and contribute to the ongoing local policy debate.
There will be a number of sessions for presentation and debate including:
- Food and nutrition in Ethiopia: Trends and drivers
- The role of nutrition-specific interventions in shaping nutrition behaviors
- Social protection, agriculture, gender and nutrition
- New horizons for social science research on nutrition in Ethiopia
We will also have a number of invited poster presentations which will showcase programmatic experiences of working across sectors to improve nutrition in Ethiopia.
