IFPRI is pleased to be featured as the CGIAR center of focus at this year’s Tropentag, an annual interdisciplinary conference on research in tropical and subtropical agriculture, natural resource management and rural development. Tropentag 2023 is organized by the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF), Germany in cooperation with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany around the theme “Competing pathways for equitable food systems transformation: trade-offs and synergies.” IFPRI’s DG and Managing Director of the CGIAR Systems Transformation Science Group Johan Swinnen is delivering a keynote address, and two events are being organized by the CGIAR Systems Transformation Science Group and CGIAR/IFPRI. A large number of researchers from IFPRI and other CGIAR centers will present and participate in Tropentag 2023.
