Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

Sohu.com published an article on international cooperation to cope with the impact of the disease, strengthen information sharing, and exchange of experience in global food-related fields, ensure the smoothness of the global food supply chain, and maintain food security. Former Director General Shenggen Fan was quoted, saying, “(These institutions) are also forming corresponding cooperation mechanisms to collect and share information. We also see that these institutions play many positive roles.
