November 17, 2021

Yabiladi (Morocco) published an article on the debate that went on regarding the results of a study to assess the impact of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) on the Moroccan economy. Carried out through a peer-to-peer partnership, co-construction, and mobilization of international experts from IFPRI and national experts from DEPF, this study was based on advanced modeling techniques. Its objective was to assess the impact of the AfCFTA on the Moroccan economy in terms of trade flows, activity, and macroeconomic aggregates while simulating different scenarios of tariff liberalization and reduction of non-tariff measures. Also published in Barlamane (Morocco)
