Kate Ambler

Kate Amber is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit. Kate’s research broadly focuses on interventions that can increase incomes for smallholders and other microenterprises in agrifood value chains, with a specific focus on the inclusion of women. This includes work on programming in fragile settings, innovations in agricultural finance, and regulatory solutions for food safety.

Remarks by World Bank Group President David Malpass at UN Food Systems Summit 2021 (Market Screener)

Market Screener published an article on the remarks made at the UNFSS by David Malpass. In those remarks, he mentioned that the World Bank and partners at IFPRI and the Food and Land Use Coalition led an effort to rethink the way food systems are financed. “We identified eight action areas to shift public and private financing towards more sustainable food systems.” Also published in Nigeria Shafaqna News, and Relief Web
