Liangzhi You

Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow and theme leader in the Foresight and Policy Modeling Unit, based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on climate resilience, spatial data and analytics, agroecosystems, and agricultural science policy. Gridded crop production data of the world (SPAM) and the agricultural technology evaluation model (DREAM) are among his research contributions.

Research body to tackle malnutrition, stunted growth in Nigeria (Voice of Nigeria)

Voice of Nigeria (VON) reported on IFPRI’s collaboration with stakeholders in Nigeria to tackle malnutrition and stunted growth among children. IFPRI Research Fellow Mulubrhan Amare explained survey findings that revealed that there are 9.7 million stunted children in Nigeria today as a result of malnutrition. Amare added that a need for specific intervention to solve the problem is required. This article was republished in News Nigeria, Sundiata, and on Nigerian radio.
