Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

‘Unprecedented food crisis, catastrophic if world doesn’t act fast’ (Times of India)

Times of India published an article stating that the world’s richest countries will be meeting at the G7 summit. Climate change has been adversely affecting global food security, water, and hunger.  IFPRI’s 2022 Global Food Policy Report has warned about climate change pushing more Indians into hunger by 2030 due to a dip in agricultural production and food supply chain disruption.
