Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

The Bureau for Food and Agricultural Policy (BFAP) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of objectively inform and support decision-making by stakeholders in the agro-food, fiber and beverage sectors of Africa. BFAP provides independent, rigorously tested, research-based market and policy analyses. BFAP collaborates with international institutions such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO).
