Why we collect it
We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with the information that you have asked to receive. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you.
How long we keep it
Your personal data will be kept with us until you unsubscribe from the list.
What we do with it
Your personal data will be used to provide you with information regarding latest news, publications, research results, and events of GCAN.
All the personal data collected is processed by our staff in Washington DC, USA. For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers provided by a third-party mailing list management service. Some of the servers that host your personal data may be located in countries (including the United States) that do not provide a level of data protection equivalent to that of your home country. We will take appropriate steps to make sure that our service providers act in accordance with applicable law.
Your personal data is not shared with or sold to third parties. We would, however, like to use your name and email address to invite you to sign-up to receive information about other IFPRI initiatives.
What your rights are
You can unsubscribe from the GCAN Mailing List at any time via the link that is included in every mailing. Once you unsubscribe, you will not receive any more mailings from this list.
If at any point you believe the data for you that we process is incorrect, contact IFPRI-GCAN@cgiar.org; you can request to see this data and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, also contact IFPRI-GCAN@cgiar.org who will forward the complaint to our data protection officer to investigate. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your home country.
