Samuel Benin

Samuel Benin is the Acting Director for Africa in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit. He conducts research on national strategies and public investment for accelerating food systems transformation in Africa and provides analytical support to the African Union’s CAADP Biennial Review.

Bio

Jenna Fogle is a Secretary to the Board of Trustees and Senior Program Manager in the Director General’s Office. She manages and supports activities under the leadership of IFPRI’s Director of Business Development and External Relations, including the coordination of partnerships, fundraising efforts, and IFPRI projects and events that address food security and nutrition challenges in developing countries.

Jenna has managed complex international projects that involve multisector partnerships in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and has also played a leading role in organizing global events in Europe as well as in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Jenna earned a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in International Relations and International Communication from Boston University.
