Samuel Benin

Samuel Benin is the Acting Director for Africa in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit. He conducts research on national strategies and public investment for accelerating food systems transformation in Africa and provides analytical support to the African Union’s CAADP Biennial Review.

Sadat Anowar

Bio

Md. Sadat Anowar is a Research Analyst in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. He joined IFPRI under the Bangladesh Policy Research and Strategy Support Program (PRSSP). His research interests relate to agriculture, education, and sustainable development. Prior to joining IFPRI, he worked as a Research Associate at think tanks including the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling and the Institute for Policy, Advocacy and Governance. He also worked with the Aga Khan Foundation and the Centre for Policy Dialogue in Bangladesh. Sadat received his Bachelor of Social Sciences and Master of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
