Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

Nathaniel Ferguson

Bio

Nathaniel Ferguson is a Research Analyst in the Natural Resources and Resilience Unit who works on methods for measuring women’s empowerment and agency, as well as gendered social norms, in rural and agricultural settings. Previously he was an intern with IFPRI Africa, working on applications of econometrics and machine learning in food systems research. He has a BS in economics from the University of North Texas and an MS in food security from the American University of Beirut.
