Kalyani Raghunathan is Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit, based in New Delhi, India. Her research lies at the intersection of agriculture, gender, social protection, and public health and nutrition, with a specific focus on South Asia and Africa.

Associate Research Fellow
Pierre Mamboundou is an Associate Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit. Pierre works with the Dakar team on various projects related to the impact of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and climate change on food security and on Integration of global production, markets, trade, and humanitarian assistance data for early warning of acute food insecurity. Prior to joining IFPRI, he was lecturer at the PURPAN School of Engineering in Toulouse, France. Pierre completed a PhD in Economics from Le Havre Normandy University, France, and holds a master’s in public policy analysis from the same university.
